Jiare Schneider, a 31-year-old TikTok creator, disappeared after borrowing a car to go clubbing on November 15, 2024. When he didn’t return home, his family grew concerned. Tragically, his body was found in a wooded area over a week later on November 26.

The Clayton County Police reported discovering Schneider’s body in Jonesboro off Brown Road around 1 p.m. Lt. Ricky Porter explained, “Our officers received a call from Schneider’s family and friends, who had been searching for him after he went missing from Forest Park.”

Schneider’s loved ones found his body earlier that morning. A family friend, Germequa Bell, shared, “We gathered a group to search the woods, and that’s where we found him.” Schneider was inside a silver Toyota 4Runner, the same car he borrowed for the night out.

According to police, the car was found deep in the woods, and evidence suggests it had been speeding before crashing. The location is about 25 minutes from Rumors Club, an adult entertainment venue Schneider’s family believes he visited that night.

Schneider’s family thinks he might have also gone to a nearby “content house,” where social media creators collaborate. Bell explained, “We didn’t search the area near the house before because it was blocked by construction.”

Frustrated with the slow progress from authorities, the family used Schneider’s phone location to guide their search, which led them back to Brown Road. Bell said they felt relieved to find him but were upset about the lack of assistance they received.

Schneider’s sister, Jasnique Oliver, said she grew worried when her brother didn’t contact his son, Nolan, a five-year-old with DiGeorge Syndrome. She also noticed he hadn’t posted on social media, which was unusual for him.

On November 16, the family received a call from one of Schneider’s friends, who said he was missing. After a week with no updates, the family flew in to file a missing person report and began their own search.

Authorities are still investigating Schneider’s death. His body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. Police are also seeking a warrant to search the vehicle for more evidence.

Schneider was not only a TikTok creator but also a musician. In 2022, he released a song called Tommy on Spotify, and in 2023, he shared a music video on YouTube.

He was a devoted father and often celebrated his son on social media. For Nolan’s birthday in February 2023, he posted heartfelt messages and videos on Instagram, calling him his “best friend” and “heart.”

In February 2024, Schneider shared a TikTok video of Nolan’s journey from infancy to childhood, saying, “I’m so proud of you. Daddy loves you, Nolan.”

Schneider’s sister, Jasnique Woods, paid tribute to him on Facebook, promising to take care of their family and his son. She wrote, “I pray you find the peace you were looking for. We got Nolan, I promise.”

His family believes foul play may be involved in his death. The case has been handed over to detectives in the criminal investigations division for further inquiry.

Schneider will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend. Bell expressed concern for his son, Nolan, saying, “His son, that’s all we can think about.”
