Mom Finds Baby’s Diaper Already Changed — What She Discovers Next Will Shock You

A young girl named Kendall discovers she’s pregnant at seventeen. Her adoptive parents, who are very religious, kick her out of the house. However, she finds help in a surprising way.

“Get out!” her adoptive mother yelled, and Kendall cried as she covered her face. “You’re a sinner! I can’t let you stay here with your innocent siblings!”

Kendall looked at her adoptive father, hoping for support, but he turned away. He would never go against his wife. Her mother shoved her out the door, saying, “You’re just like your real mother! A loose woman!”

Kendall sat on the curb, crying, until her adoptive father came out holding a small backpack. “Your sister packed some things for you,” he said, handing her a roll of dollar bills. “I’m sorry, Kendall, but you know how your mom is.”

Kendall wiped her tears and looked up. “She’s not my mom!” she cried. “You promised to love me no matter what, real parents don’t act like this!” He walked away, looking ashamed, and Kendall took her things and walked off.

Kendall had been adopted as a baby by the Jordans. They were good people, but they were very strict religiously. They didn’t celebrate birthdays or Christmas because they believed it was sinful. Kendall and her siblings went to school and church, but as a teenager, she wanted to rebel. She dreamed of going to movies, wearing makeup, and going to parties.

But when she wasn’t allowed to do these things, she ended up making poor choices. She got involved with the wrong guy, and before long, she was pregnant.

Kendall used to imagine she had a guardian angel who watched over her and secretly gave her gifts. On her birthday, she’d find presents in her school locker, and at Christmas, there would be candy canes and stockings outside her window. She would look for her angel but never saw it. Now, with a baby on the way and nowhere to go, she needed that angel more than ever.

She walked to the park and sat on a bench, counting the $56 her adoptive father had given her. It wasn’t enough for even one night at a cheap motel. Just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, she heard a friendly voice.

“Hey there, girl. You look like you need help. Maybe I can help you!”

Kendall looked up and saw a woman with a warm smile, wearing a colorful apron and holding a bunch of roses.

“I’m…OK…” Kendall sniffed.

The woman shook her head and sat beside Kendall. “No, honey, you’re not. But I won’t judge you. You can talk to me.”

Kendall broke down and told the woman everything: how she had no money, no job, and was pregnant with nowhere to go.

“I’ll give you a job,” the woman said kindly. “And I have a little apartment you can stay in, but you’ll need to care for the baby yourself.”

“You’ll really help me?” Kendall asked, surprised.

“Yes,” the woman replied. “I own a flower stand at the park, and I want to open another one by the business district. I’ll teach you how to arrange flowers, and we’ll see how it goes.”

Kendall smiled through her tears. “I love flowers!”

“Great,” the woman said. “Come on, I’ll show you the apartment I have for you.”

The apartment was small but clean and cozy. Kendall couldn’t believe her luck. Maybe, just maybe, her guardian angel was watching over her after all.

Over the next few months, things got better. The flower stand in the business district was a huge success. The doctor the woman took her to said she and the baby were healthy.

Five months later, Kendall gave birth to a healthy baby boy, whom she named Michael. Mila, the woman who helped her, gave her three months off to care for the baby. But adjusting to life with a newborn was hard. Michael cried all the time, and Kendall was exhausted. Then one morning, she woke up and rushed to check on him.

“Michael!” she cried, running to his room. He was peacefully asleep, looking like an angel. She was amazed—he had slept all night without needing to be fed or changed.

“Did I feed him in my sleep?” she wondered.

The next night, Michael didn’t cry, and when Kendall woke up, he was dry and asleep. “This is getting creepy,” she thought. “Maybe I’m sleepwalking.”

She stayed awake that night, determined to find out what was happening. At 3 a.m., she heard soft sounds from Michael’s room. Someone was in there!

Kendall quietly peeked into the room and saw a woman bending over Michael’s crib, changing his diaper and talking to him softly. Kendall turned on the light. “Who are you?” she screamed. “Get away from my baby!”

The woman gasped, and Michael began crying. She picked him up and soothed him. “Hello, Kendall,” she said calmly. “I’m Martha Douglas. I’m your mother.”

Martha explained her story. “I got pregnant when I was sixteen, just like you. My mother wanted me to have an abortion, but I refused. She kicked me out, and I had to give you up.”

“It was the hardest thing I ever did, but I wanted to stay in your life. I sent you gifts for your birthdays and Christmas, and I visited when I could.”

“I finished high school and started my own flower business. I have over thirty shops, so I asked my employee, Mila, to help you. This house belonged to my mother.”

“Why didn’t you tell me this before?” Kendall asked.

Martha sighed. “I was ashamed. I didn’t want you to think badly of me, especially since you kept your baby. I just wanted to give you a few peaceful nights.”

Kendall hugged her. “I’m lucky to have you and Mila helping me. How could I ever think badly of you?”

Kendall now had her mother back and a family. She and her baby moved in with Martha, and finally, Kendall had the love and support she’d always needed.
