In a 2021 interview, Biles revealed how she met Owens. After ending her relationship with gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr. in 2020, Biles found Owens on a dating app. She thought he was cute and messaged him.
The two discovered they lived in Houston and soon started meeting. Biles’ sister, Adria, even helped move things along by inviting Owens to a family trip. He brought his dog Zeus, who quickly bonded with Biles’ dog, Lilo.
