When 53-year-old Barbara took a pregnancy test and saw two lines, she couldn’t believe her eyes! She was pregnant! The sudden weight gain and mood swings made sense now, but by the time Barbara realized it, it was already too late.

“Do you hear the heartbeats, Barbara?” Dr. Carter asked her during her hospital visit.

From that day on, Melanie became her mother’s biggest supporter. She visited Barbara often and made sure she was okay. Even Josh, Melanie’s husband, was supportive. He accompanied Melanie to the hospital on weekends to care for Barbara. But all their love and support vanished the day the twins were born.

When the nurse brought the babies, Melanie and Josh noticed something strange—the babies had identical birthmarks on their shoulders.

Melanie’s heart sank. Josh’s face turned pale.
