Diddy Reportedly Bragging in Prison: ‘Trump Will Pardon Me Next Year!’
Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly telling fellow inmates that his time behind bars won’t last much longer — because he’s convinced former President Donald Trump will grant him a presidential pardon in early 2026.
According to multiple insiders at FCI Fort Dix, the federal correctional facility in New Jersey where Diddy is serving his sentence, the music mogul has been confidently sharing his belief that Trump plans to set him free — and soon.

Diddy’s Bold Prison Talk
Sources inside the prison told TMZ that Diddy has been openly talking about Trump’s alleged plans to pardon him. One insider claimed the rapper has even promised to “take care of” his fellow inmates once he’s released.
Diddy, 55, is currently serving a 50-month sentence for violating the Mann Act, which prohibits transporting individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity. He reported to Fort Dix just last week and has already served over 13 months in custody. With credit for good behavior, he could be released in about two years — but a presidential pardon would wipe his sentence clean.
Trump Reportedly Considering a Pardon

Reports surfaced last month that Donald Trump was seriously considering pardoning Diddy, despite pushback from several members of his team.
According to one insider close to the former president, “Trump will do what he wants,” suggesting that even political pressure might not stop him from extending clemency.
Sources also revealed that Diddy’s legal team has been in contact with a high-ranking White House official, believed to have direct access to Trump. The request for a commutation or pardon reportedly landed on Trump’s radar almost immediately after Diddy was sentenced in early October — and Trump even acknowledged it publicly during a media appearance.
A Complicated Relationship Between Diddy and Trump
The two men have a long and complicated history. Diddy and Trump were once on friendly terms, appearing together at events and even praising each other in interviews during the 2000s. However, that relationship cooled in 2020 when Diddy publicly endorsed Joe Biden for president.
Still, insiders claim Trump hasn’t ruled out showing Diddy “mercy” — and the Bad Boy Records founder reportedly believes the former president is ready to make it happen.
“He’s confident Trump will swoop in and help,” one source told TMZ.

Will the Pardon Actually Happen?
While Diddy’s confidence is reportedly sky-high, there’s no official confirmation that Trump plans to take action. Presidential pardons and commutations are rare and politically sensitive — and with the next election year approaching, Trump’s decisions will be under even more scrutiny.
For now, Diddy remains behind bars at Fort Dix, surrounded by inmates who are listening closely to every word he says.
“Stay tuned,” one insider said. “If Diddy’s right, 2026 could get very interesting.”
