Beautiful Reason These 6 Boys Donated Their Hair to Charity

When you see someone doing something you think is strange or that you don’t agree with, stop and ask yourself this: is it hurting anyone else?

If the answer is “no,” then it’s best to walk away and mind your own business. It’s not your place to decide what is right for other people, especially if you don’t know the reasons behind their choices.

If you took the time to ask, you might see things in a completely different way.

Phoebe Kannisto has six sons: five-year-old triplets, eight-year-old twins, and a ten-year-old. The family lives in Cheektowaga, New York. Until recently, all six boys had very long hair.

Hair length and style are personal choices that don’t harm anyone else. Whether or not you like someone’s hairstyle doesn’t matter—what’s important is that they are happy with it.

How would you feel if someone made fun of your appearance?

Unfortunately, many people don’t understand this simple idea and feel the need to comment on everything—even the hair of a few young boys.

All six boys were bullied for their long hair while they were growing it out. The bullying didn’t just come from kids their age. Adults also made unkind remarks, and they should know better!

What the bullies didn’t know was that the boys were growing their hair out for a special purpose. They had lost a family friend to cancer, and some of the boys were close in age to their friend. His death had a big impact on them, and they wanted to help.

So, all six boys decided to grow their hair long and donate it to a nonprofit group called Children with Hair Loss. It took months, but in the end, they donated 17 feet of hair!

Before you judge or bully someone for something you don’t understand, stop and think. If what they’re doing doesn’t hurt anyone, it’s none of your business.

Please like and share if you agree that these boys are an inspiration!
