The Woman Who Rescued Macaulay Culkin and Gifted Him Family

Can you believe Macaulay Culkin is already in his 40s? When we think of him, we usually remember the little kid from the Home Alone movies.

Nowadays, Macaulay Culkin is making headlines again, but for a new reason. He usually keeps to himself and likes his privacy, but it’s hard not to notice when a child star becomes a parent.

Macaulay Culkin and his fiancée, Brenda Song, who is 34 years old, recently welcomed their second child named Carson. It’s pretty amazing that most folks didn’t even know Brenda was pregnant.

Culkin and Brenda now have two sons: Dakota, named after Culkin’s late sister who passed away in 2008, and the new addition, Carson. Dakota’s birth also surprised many people because they kept it a secret until they shared the happy news later on.

The couple has been together since 2017, and in 2022, they got engaged shortly after Dakota was born. Brenda mentioned that their relationship is incredible, and she loves sharing her life with him. Culkin once thought something might go wrong, but then he realized he had something really good going on.

Culkin and Song are very hands-on parents. They prefer doing things together as a family rather than hiring a nanny, although Brenda’s mom has been helping since Dakota was born.

Brenda highlighted how crucial communication is for them. They have their specific roles, but they stay flexible to talk and connect. She explained, “When you and your partner have kids, especially in the first few months, you don’t have the patience to be polite with each other. Being open when you need help is so important. Instead of having fixed duties, we just figure things out together.”

Some folks thought Culkin wouldn’t pursue new romantic relationships after his 2017 breakup. But during the filming of Changeland, Brenda came into his life, and they became a couple pretty quickly.

Both of them were child stars, and that shared experience helped them connect over the challenges they faced when they were younger.
