Tiger Woods’ Stunning 17-Year-Old Daughter Steals the Spotlight as Dad and Brother Shine at PNC Championship!
|The 48-year-old golfer Tiger Woods visited the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando with his 17-year-old daughter, Sam, acting as his caddie, and his 15-year-old son, Charlie.
Tiger Woods was back on the golf course with his kids, Sam and Charlie, on December 21, 2024. Fans were amazed at how much Sam looks like her mom, Elin Nordegren.
Tiger and Charlie played in the 2024 PNC Championship, a tradition they’ve kept for years. Sam, who started caddying for her dad last year, was back for her second time.
Tiger shares his children with ex-wife Elin Nordegren. The couple married in 2004, divorced in 2010, and have two kids: Sam, born in 2007, and Charlie, born in 2009.
Fans were excited to see Sam and Charlie and compared their looks. Many thought Sam looks just like her mom, saying, “Daughter looks like Elin. Beautiful like her mama.” Others agreed, adding, “She looks like her mama 😍.”
Some fans saw a resemblance to Tiger instead, saying, “The girl looks exactly like her dad,” while another noted, “Wow she definitely has her Dad’s smile.” One fan summed it up, “His children are gorgeous, they resemble both parents.”
Sam, born June 18, 2007, was named Sam Alexis in honor of her late grandfather. Tiger explained that his dad often called him “Sam” instead of “Tiger,” which inspired the name.
Sam has praised her dad in the past. At the Golf Hall of Fame ceremony in 2022, she celebrated his achievements, like becoming the first Black and Asian golfer to win a major and recovering from a crash to walk again.
Unlike her brother Charlie, Sam isn’t interested in golf. Tiger said she sees the sport negatively because it kept him away from home when she was little. Instead, they’ve bonded over other shared interests.
Charlie, however, made headlines at the PNC Championship with his first-ever hole-in-one. On a par-3 hole, he used a 7-iron to make the impressive shot, landing the ball six feet from the hole before it rolled in.
The crowd cheered as Charlie turned to Tiger for a big hug. Both wore matching red shirts and black pants, mirroring Tiger’s iconic style. Tiger, proud and excited, celebrated with his son.
Afterward, Charlie shared his excitement, saying, “It was awesome… I made an ace. I don’t think I can top that.” Tiger called it one of the highlights of his life, adding, “I’m so happy for him.”
Team Woods tied for the first-round lead with two other teams at 13-under 59. In the playoff, Team Langer won with an eagle putt. Team Woods finished second, a repeat of their 2021 performance.
Tiger admitted in an interview that Charlie once beat him in a nine-hole game. “That day is coming for 18 holes,” Tiger joked, saying he’s delaying it as long as possible.
Tiger encourages Charlie to follow his own path in life. “He’s my son, but I want him to be himself,” he said. Tiger supports Charlie as he handles life in the spotlight, adding, “I try to do the best job I can as a parent.”
Charlie’s hole-in-one showed his talent and strengthened the bond he shares with Tiger, creating a special memory in their journey together.
