Only 1 in 10 Can Spot the Double Images in This Postcard – Are You One of Them?

Optical illusions are some of the most fascinating pictures to look at.

I was young when I first saw this image. Now, it’s online and millions of people have seen it. This illusion is very popular because it’s hard to solve — the picture shows two images at once, but very few people can spot both.

Many people struggle with these tricky pictures. They stare at it, not sure what they’re supposed to find.

The famous image below has been shared worldwide since 1888. To give you an idea of how old that is — 1888 was the year the first phone line between Stockholm and Gothenburg was built, and also when the first wax drinking straw was invented.

The postcard below was made in Germany for a company called “The Anchor Buggy Company.”

At first, the postcards were given out without any hints about the hidden images. But soon, people started noticing something strange about it.

Can you spot the two pictures in the portrait?

The artist who made the drawing was a British cartoonist named W.E. Hill. He knew about the hidden images, but he thought no one would ever notice, according to All Cute All The Time.

At first, no one paid attention, and Hill kept working as a cartoonist. But then, people started talking about the strange image. As the word spread, he gained thousands of fans.

He called this illusion “Young-Girl Old-Woman.” It shows a young girl looking away and an older woman looking down.

This image was the first of its kind and has stayed popular for many years, even with newer images coming out. The W.E. Hill image has been seen by millions of people, maybe even billions by now!

Look at the image above and see if you can spot the double image!

As mentioned earlier, you should be able to see a young woman looking away and an older woman looking down, looking a bit sad.
