Brazilian Football Star Hulk Sparks Drama by Marrying His Ex-Wife’s Niece in Lavish Beach Wedding

Former Brazilian striker Hulk is planning a religious wedding ceremony to marry his ex-wife’s niece, Camila Angelo.

Hulk, who plays for Atletico Mineiro, is set to marry Camila in December. The couple already had a civil wedding in 2020, as reported by *Portal Leodias*.

Surprisingly, Hulk and Camila were already related by marriage before their union. Hulk was previously married to Camila’s aunt, Iran Angelo. The pair were together for 12 years and had three children: Ian, Tiago, and Alice, who are now cousins to Camila, Hulk’s new wife.

Hulk shocked many people in 2020 when he announced his marriage to Camila shortly after ending his 12-year relationship with Iran.

The religious ceremony is expected to be held on a beach in Paraíba, although the exact date is not yet decided. Atletico Mineiro’s busy schedule, including their potential participation in the FIFA Intercontinental Club Cup, may delay the event.

The couple welcomed their first child, Zaya, in 2021 and announced last year that they were expecting a second daughter, Aisha.

Hulk had a notable career, scoring 11 goals in 49 appearances for Brazil from 2009 to 2021, including winning the 2013 Confederations Cup. At the club level, he made his mark with Porto, winning four league titles and the Europa League, as well as with Zenit St. Petersburg and Shanghai SIPG.

Hulk’s relationship with Camila became public in December 2019, five months after he ended his marriage with Iran. He reportedly informed his family, including his three children, about the relationship that same month.

At the time, a spokesman for Hulk said, “Hulk called Camila’s parents and brother to tell them the truth. He made the information public himself to be transparent and avoid lies or malicious rumors.”
