General Hospital Star Cameron Mathison Loses LA Home in Wildfire

Actor Cameron Mathison, 55, has lost his Los Angeles home to the devastating wildfires. The General Hospital star shared a video showing the remains of his house in Pasadena, destroyed by the Eaton wildfire. In the video, the exterior of the house is barely standing, surrounded by ash and flames.

Mathison wrote, “We are safe, but this is all that’s left of our beautiful home. It’s where our kids grew up and hoped to raise their own someday. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Sending prayers to everyone affected by these fires.”

Mathison and his ex-wife Vanessa Arevalo lived there with their two children. He bought the home in 2012 for $1.672 million.

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester’s home in Pacific Palisades has also been destroyed. Photos show the family home reduced to rubble, with the roof burned away and smoke pouring from the windows. The couple, who have two children, bought the home in 2019 for $6.5 million.

The Palisades fire, fueled by high winds, started Tuesday morning and has burned over 1,200 acres. More than 30,000 people have been evacuated. Blocks of homes have been destroyed, and some residents fled on foot, leaving cars behind.

The fire also reached the Getty Villa, but officials confirmed the art and artifacts are safe. Other fires, like the Eaton Fire in Pasadena, have caused further damage, with two lives lost and a senior center evacuated.
