I Served a Wealthy Couple on a Flight—The Next Day, My Mom Revealed Her New Fiancé Was One of Them!
|Kristi was a flight attendant who served a wealthy couple in business class, where they were affectionate and full of love for each other. The next day, she was stunned to find out that the same man was now engaged to her mother. Kristi knew something was off and decided to investigate, but she had no idea how much trouble it would cause.
On the plane, Kristi, in her neat uniform, was making her rounds when she stopped by a couple sitting by the window. The man, dressed sharply, gave the woman a small velvet box, which contained a beautiful necklace. As she opened it, the necklace sparkled in the light, and the woman’s face lit up with joy. Kristi felt touched by the moment, but she couldn’t help but overhear their conversation.
“May I, my gorgeous Isabella?” the man whispered, and the woman smiled, shyly lifting her hair for him to clasp the necklace around her neck. Kristi blushed when the woman complimented her lipstick, and the man gave her a generous tip. Kristi continued her rounds, but the couple’s happiness stayed with her.
The following day, Kristi visited her mother on her day off, only to meet her new fiancé, Edwin. To her shock, he was the same man she had seen with Isabella on the plane. Kristi kept her composure, but she was taken aback.
“Nice to meet you, Kristi. Your mother has told me so much about you,” Edwin said, acting as if they had never met. Kristi responded cautiously, trying to stay polite. Edwin then took charge in the kitchen, cooking a meal and sharing stories about his travels. But when Kristi asked him more about his past, he responded vaguely, making her more suspicious.
That evening, Kristi took her mother outside, hoping to have a serious conversation.
“Mom, what do you really know about Edwin?” Kristi asked.
“He’s wonderful. A billionaire, a diamond tycoon’s son. He’s shown me such a glamorous life,” her mother replied, excited. “We’re getting married soon!”
Kristi hesitated but spoke up. “Mom, I saw him on a flight with another woman. How can he be marrying you so quickly?”
Her mother frowned. “Stop lying, Kristi. You’re just jealous. Edwin loves me.”
Kristi tried again. “He could be a scammer. He seems like a Casanova.”
Her mother shook her head. “You don’t understand, he’s all about love.”
Kristi felt helpless but knew she had to protect her mother. When Edwin appeared, Kristi couldn’t hold back anymore.
“How can you manipulate my mother’s feelings?” she demanded, telling Edwin about what she saw on the plane.
Edwin’s smile faltered. “I only want your mother’s happiness. No need for hostility,” he said, but Kristi wasn’t convinced. In a burst of anger, she poured her drink over his head, calling him a fraud.
Her mother rushed in, horrified. “Kristi, how could you?” she scolded.
Kristi’s heart sank as her mother took Edwin’s side, but she knew she had to prove he was a liar, no matter the cost.
Later, Kristi remembered something from the flight and decided to investigate. She went to the airline office, asking for the passenger list from her recent flight. After some hesitation, she managed to get Isabella’s contact information and arranged to meet her.
At a hotel coffee shop, Kristi confronted Isabella, who was surprised to see her. Kristi told her about Edwin and her suspicions. Isabella confessed that Edwin had asked her for money and that she was about to give it to him.
Kristi suggested they set up a trap. “We’ll record everything and catch him in the act.”
Isabella agreed, and they came up with a plan. The next evening, Kristi disguised herself as a waitress and went to a restaurant where Isabella planned to meet Edwin.
When Edwin arrived, he greeted Isabella and Kristi took their order. As they drank wine, Isabella suggested giving Edwin a gift instead of money. Edwin eagerly agreed, showing her some expensive watches on his phone.
Kristi saw her chance and spilled wine on Edwin’s shirt. While he was distracted, she swapped his phone with a decoy and ran to the restroom to check it. Inside, she found Edwin’s active dating profile and flirtatious messages, just like the ones he sent her mother.
As she was examining the phone, Edwin caught her in the restroom, demanding it back. Kristi backed away, holding the phone tightly. He tried to grab it from her, but she managed to avoid him and quickly left.
Kristi found herself at a police station later that night. “You’re lucky Edwin hasn’t pressed charges,” an officer warned her. Kristi felt defeated but knew she had to protect her mother.
Her mother arrived, upset and disappointed. “Kristi, this isn’t the daughter I raised,” she said. “What have you done?”
Kristi tried to explain, but her mother didn’t listen. “I don’t want to see you anymore,” she said, leaving Kristi heartbroken.
Kristi went back to the hotel where she had met Isabella. As they talked about what happened, Isabella comforted her. “I heard about what happened. I’m sorry,” she said.
Kristi smiled weakly. “Before everything went down, I changed Edwin’s password on the dating site.”
Isabella was impressed. “We can use that to warn the other women.”
Together, they logged into Edwin’s account and sent messages to his other targets, warning them about him. They knew Edwin wouldn’t get away with his scams for much longer.
The next day, Kristi watched from a distance as Edwin prepared for his wedding with her mother. But she had a plan. Dozens of women Edwin had deceived showed up at the chapel, calling him a liar and scammer. The ceremony turned into chaos as the women confronted Edwin, throwing cake and using handbags to get back at him.
Kristi stepped out from her hiding spot as the police arrived, taking Edwin away. Her mother left in tears, but Kristi knew it wasn’t over. She would make sure Edwin faced the consequences for his actions.
It wasn’t just the end of his scam; it was the beginning of him paying for what he’d done.
