Jason Momoa’s Kids Stun Fans with Their Transformation at Their First Metallica Concert!
|The “Aquaman” star took his son and daughter to their first Metallica concert and shared some unforgettable moments from the event.
Jason Momoa’s latest family photos had fans amazed at how much his kids, Nakoa-Wolf and Lola, have grown. Many also noticed how much his 16-year-old son looks like him.
In an Instagram post, Jason shared photos from the special outing, showing the fun and closeness he shares with Nakoa-Wolf, 16, and Lola, 17.
The actor expressed his happiness in the caption, writing, “I LOVE U @metallica SO HONORED TO BE INTRODUCING THEM AT @allwithinmyhandsfoundation. Amazing foundation, please check it out. My babies’ first Metallica show. Happiest papa in the world. Chhhhhhheeeeehuuuuuuuuu. Aloha j.”
The post included a series of fun and happy pictures taken on December 13, 2024, during Metallica’s “All Within My Hands Helping Hands” concert at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles. In one picture, Jason posed with Lola and a Metallica band member, clearly proud as a dad.
Another photo showed a playful moment where Nakoa-Wolf made silly poses while Jason hugged Lola, both smiling for the camera. Other pictures showed the family enjoying the concert, laughing, smiling, and meeting the band members. The joy and excitement of the night shone through in every picture.
Jason’s post had fans gushing over their fun night and how great he looked with his kids. One fan wrote, “Beautiful kids!!! Son looks just like you wow 🤩 congrats proud daddy,” while another said, “Wow, your son looks like you when you were on Baywatch.”
Fans also admired Lola. “Omg. Daughter is Dad’s twin, son is mom’s. So cute ❤️,” one fan said, while another added, “Kids grow up so fast!! Lola is getting tall like her dad! Love to you, Jason, and your family! ❤️.”
Others couldn’t help but comment on how much Nakoa-Wolf looks like Jason. “Wolf is going to look just like his dad,” one admirer said, while another added, “Wolf is your twin!!! You guys look amazing.”
Lola’s straight hair in the pictures also caught attention. One fan wrote, “DIDNT RECONGIZE [sic] LOLA WITH HER HAIR STRAIGHT BEAUTIFUL.”
At the concert, Jason went on stage to introduce Metallica. His fun and passionate side stood out as he talked about how their music helped him through tough times. He said it gave him an outlet for anger and frustration and guided him in life.
He also spoke about his kids, saying, “There’s a saying, ‘You should never meet your heroes; they will ultimately let you down,’ but not in this case, because tonight… my children get to see me living out my dream standing next to my heroes.”
Jason added, “And my kids get to witness how Metallica has inspired all of us—not just through their music but through the good they bring to the world with ‘All Within My Hands.'”
Jason loves his kids deeply and is very intentional about being a dad. Growing up without a father has shaped how he raises Nakoa-Wolf and Lola.
“I didn’t know what it takes to be a dad. And I don’t want to just tell my son, ‘Because I said so.’ I really want to connect with him and help him be open and vulnerable,” Jason explained.
The “Sweet Girl” actor even has his children’s first names tattooed on his chest in their childhood handwriting, taken from the first time they wrote their names.
In March 2024, Jason said that he feels deeply happy because his family is healthy and thriving. “I’m living all the dreams I’ve ever wanted to do. Being a father, my kids are healthy, strong, doing well in school, and just beautiful. I’m full of gratitude,” he shared.
In another interview, Jason talked about how being a dad influences his acting. While he tries to keep his roles separate from his family life, he admitted that his love for his kids often comes through in his work.
“It’s impossible to fully show what it’s like to be a parent without feeling that deep love and willingness to do anything for your children,” he said.
Jason also shares his passions with his kids. Inspired by his mom, he loves skateboarding and rock climbing, which taught him bravery and freedom. Now, he’s passing that on to Nakoa-Wolf and Lola.
“If I teach them to skate, they can be bold and brave anywhere,” he said. “And if I teach them to climb, they can face fear and push themselves. Every time my kids play, they’ll feel their papa is always with them.”
In September 2021, Jason took Lola and Nakoa-Wolf to the “No Time to Die” premiere in London. He often shares big moments like this with his kids, who support him at important events.
Despite being a Hollywood star, Jason works hard to keep life normal for his kids. “We go camping, play music, and go rock climbing. When I’m with my kids, I just try to be their dad,” he said.
In November 2022, Jason attended the “Slumberland” premiere with his kids. “My babies and my family are the most important thing,” he said proudly.
