Kelly Clarkson is talking about how she lost a lot of weight in a new interview with People magazine. She showed off her new look, including a bold hairstyle, on her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, on November 13th.

People were spreading rumors about celebrities using drugs like Ozempic to lose weight, but Clarkson is being honest about her weight loss. She shared that walking in the city is a great workout for her. She’s also really into using infrared saunas, and she recently got a cold plunge because many people convinced her to try it.

Clarkson, who is a mother of two, moved her talk show from Los Angeles to New York City last year.


Previously, Clarkson discussed dieting to treat thyroid and autoimmune issues. At the time she lost 37 pounds.

Now, she says she’s simply following her doctor’s advice.

“I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor — a couple years I didn’t. And 90% of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat — sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
