Legendary Actor Anthony Hopkins’ $6M Mansion Destroyed in LA Inferno!
|Anthony Hopkins has sadly lost his home in the California wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles.
The famous 87-year-old actor is now one of many Hollywood stars whose homes have been destroyed by the fires.
Over 30,000 people have been told to evacuate, including several celebrities caught in the disaster.
Hopkins’ four-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Pacific Palisades, which he bought for $6 million in 2021, was burned to the ground.
Photos show the remains of the colonial-style house, now reduced to a burnt frame and a scorched fence—the only signs of what was once a beautiful property.
The home was a new chapter for the Oscar winner, who had sold his Malibu oceanfront house for $10.5 million in 2021, more than twice what he paid for it in 2001.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Hopkins has faced such a loss.
In 2018, his home nearly caught fire during the Woolsey fire, which destroyed his neighbor’s house. Even earlier, in 2000, Hopkins lost his London home to a fire, though he was in Los Angeles and unharmed.
Now, as the fires rage on, Hopkins and others in Los Angeles are coping with the loss of their homes in one of the hardest-hit areas.
Other celebrities have suffered similar tragedies.
Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester lost their $7 million home to the flames. They had bought the five-bedroom house in 2019 but now only ashes remain.
Anna Faris also lost her $5 million eco-friendly house, now nothing but rubble.
Former talk show host Ricki Lake shared her heartbreak after losing her dream home. She and her husband Ross Sussman had married there just three years ago.
Lake said on Instagram, “Ross and I lost our dream home. It was our heaven on earth, where we planned to grow old together. This loss is beyond words.”
Actor James Woods posted a video of a house near his, completely destroyed by the fire.
The wildfires have caused massive destruction across Los Angeles, with many homes and landmarks lost.
