My Husband Refused to Take My Vacation Photos—So I Got the Ultimate Revenge!

Going to Mexico was a dream come true for me. My husband, our two kids, and I were excited to have the best time of our lives. Just thinking about it made me so happy. But when we got there, my husband’s behavior made me question his feelings for me. He refused to take pictures with me, which left me confused. Finding out the reason broke my heart.

As we arrived in Mexico, I was sure this trip would be unforgettable. Just days before, I found out that I had inherited money and property from my uncle. I planned to tell Luke about it during our vacation.

But when he kept saying no to taking pictures with me, I started to feel something was wrong.

Whenever I asked him for a picture, he would say, “Not now, Hannah,” or “I’m not in the mood for photos, maybe later.”

It didn’t make sense since taking a picture only took a few seconds. But Luke didn’t seem willing to do it.

This went on for days, and then one day, he left his phone unlocked on the bed while he went to shower.

I didn’t want to invade his privacy, but I had to know why he was acting this way.

A message popped up in his group chat with his friends, and there it was.

“Can you believe it, guys? At her size, she still expects me to take pictures of her,” he wrote. “Where would she even fit in the frame? She has changed so much since having the baby.”

His words broke me. I never knew my husband thought of me this way.

Without thinking, I took a selfie and posted it online with the caption, “Am I really so unattractive that my own husband won’t take my picture?”

Soon, I was flooded with supportive messages and comments.

When Luke came out of the bathroom and saw my post, he acted like he didn’t know what was going on. So I showed him the messages he sent to his friends.

“Just so you know, I inherited my uncle’s house and money. That means I’m moving there and ending this relationship,” I told him.

I couldn’t stay with someone who didn’t find me beautiful.

As soon as he heard about the inheritance, he started apologizing. But I knew he only cared about the money.

I packed my bags, took my kids, and left Luke behind.

I don’t know what the future holds for me and my children, but I know I deserve better than someone like Luke.
