Plastic Surgery Addict Defies Doctors: ‘I’m Still Not Done With My Transformation
|Barbie is everywhere right now, with Margot Robbie playing the iconic doll in the upcoming movie *Barbie* alongside Ryan Gosling as Ken. But Australia’s “human Barbie,” Tara McConachy, is making headlines for a very different reason. Unlike Robbie’s natural look, Tara has spent over $200,000 on plastic surgeries and isn’t stopping anytime soon, despite doctors’ warnings.
Tara, 33, calls herself “Australia’s Limited Edition Barbie Doll” and has drastically altered her appearance. She’s had five breast augmentations, six nose jobs, eye color changes to vibrant green, cheek and butt implants, and countless Botox and filler treatments. Standing 5 foot 7 and weighing just 100 pounds, her measurements are 37-17-29. She says she’s still chasing the “wow factor.”

Her journey began at age 20, when her father gave her breast and lip enhancements as a birthday gift. Tara described the feeling after her first surgery as euphoric, saying it hooked her on the idea of modifying her body. “If you can change something, why not?” she said. “Anywhere you can put filler, I’ll put it.”

Doctors have repeatedly refused to perform additional surgeries on Tara, especially when it comes to her already large breasts. On the reality show *Botched*, Hollywood surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif expressed concerns about her dangerously low body weight and overall health. But Tara is undeterred, saying she has multiple doctors she can turn to.
Despite her setbacks, Tara is heading to Turkey for another round of surgeries to increase her breast implants from 1050cc to 1500cc. She funds her procedures through an account where fans pay for exclusive content, and recent posts suggest she’s already achieved her latest goal.

Tara’s extreme look has sparked debate. Some say she’s gone too far, while others argue she should be free to express herself. While many might prefer Margot Robbie’s more natural take on Barbie, Tara insists that for her, “more is better.” She won’t stop until she achieves what she sees as perfection.
