Queen Camilla is secretly helping Kate Middleton, and now it’s been revealed.
|Kate Middleton had surgery on her stomach in January. Everyone hoped she’d get better soon. But people got worried when she didn’t appear in public, even though the Palace said she was okay.
Then, rumors started flying around, especially after Kate posted a picture with her kids on Mother’s Day. But it turned out the picture was changed. You didn’t need to be an expert to see that someone had edited it.
Later, Kate admitted she edited the picture herself. People praised her for telling the truth, but they criticized the Palace for not supporting her.
On Friday, Kate spoke to the public in a video to clear up rumors. She talked about her health and shared that after her stomach surgery, doctors found cancer.
She said, “My doctors suggested I should have chemotherapy to prevent it from getting worse. I’ve just started this treatment.” Kate explained it was a big shock, and she and William were dealing with it privately for their kids’ sake.
She added that it took time to recover from surgery and to talk to her kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis, about it. “It’s been hard, but I’m getting stronger every day. Having William with me helps a lot.”
She didn’t say exactly what kind of cancer she has.
In the video, she asked for privacy while she and her family deal with this hard time.
She said, “Having William with me makes me feel better. And all the love and support from everyone means a lot to us. But for now, we need some time alone while I get better. I love my work, and I’ll be back when I can, but right now, I need to focus on getting well.”
“I’m also thinking about everyone else fighting cancer. Don’t lose hope. You’re not alone.”
When Kate and Charles aren’t around, their spouses step in to do royal duties.
An expert, Angela Levin, talked on GB News about how Queen Camilla is helping the royal family.
She said, “Waiting until you’re 73 to be king is a long time. It’s hard at his age, but he’s determined. Queen Camilla is right there with him, going to events they would’ve gone to together.”
“She’s keeping things going, being strong. Years ago, people thought the whole royal family would fall apart, but she’s proving them wrong.”
Camilla doesn’t want all the attention, but she’s doing a great job and is easy to talk to.
“To support her husband, she’s been with him for over 50 years. They understand each other and make each other laugh. When they’re out, they’re always together.”
Today, we can see that Camilla is well-liked in the family, but both she and Kate faced tough times with the media.
Kate went through it when her relationship with William became public. The media called her names like “Lazy Kate” and “Waity Katie.”
Unfortunately, she faced scrutiny again after the Mother’s Day picture problem.
Camilla Tominey, an editor from The Telegraph, said in an interview that the queen has been trying to support Kate during all the media attention.
Tominey said, “I think before [Catherine] made the announcement because she was having to cope with the fallout of everything that was said about the Mother’s Day photo and everything else, I think Camilla lent some support.”
“Because let’s be honest, [Camilla] knows what it’s like to have a difficult press. She knows what it’s like to shepherd children through a media storm,” she added.
When Camilla’s affair with Charles was exposed, she was one of the most hated women in the country. At one point, she was even afraid to leave her house because she endured “torrents” of mistreatment from the public.
