Shocking Claim by Melania Trump: What the Obama Administration Didn’t Tell Us

Donald Trump was sworn in on Monday as the 47th president of the United States, marking his return to the White House for a second term. During his address, he declared, “The golden age of America begins right now.”

He also promised that under his leadership, the country would “flourish and be respected,” referring to himself as “a peacemaker and a unifier.” Trump added that God had saved him from an assassination attempt, allowing him to fulfill his mission to “make America great again.”

When it comes to First Lady Melania Trump, reports indicate she will not be living full-time at the White House. Instead, she plans to split her time between different locations.

Their son, Barron Trump, is starting university in New York, and Melania, a former Slovenian model, plans to spend time there as well as at the family’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

While Donald Trump seemed eager to return as president, the same enthusiasm didn’t appear to extend to his wife.

In an interview promoting her memoir, Melania, she was asked about differences between this transition and their first move into the White House after the Obama administration.

“The difference is I know where I will be going, I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process,” Melania said in an interview with Fox & Friends.

She explained that the first transition was difficult because “the information was withheld from us by the previous administration.”

This time, she said things will be much smoother since she and Donald are not relying on their predecessors for guidance.

“But this time I have everything, I have the plans. I could move in, I already packed – I already selected the furniture that needs to go in,” Melania said. “So it’s a very different transition this time, second time around.”

Former First Lady Michelle Obama did not attend Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
