The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star Cole McBee has officially proposed to his longtime love Kacie Adkison — and the moment couldn’t have been more romantic.
The Bravo reality star popped the question on Friday, November 7, presenting Kacie with a dazzling 3.16-carat engagement ring in a heartfelt surprise that included the most important person in their lives — their 10-month-old daughter, Blair.
“Kacie is the biggest spy, she knows everything going on, and we were able to keep it a secret,” McBee told PEOPLE. “It surprised her, and that was the number one thing I wanted.”
According to McBee, little Blair played a starring role in the proposal.
“We 100% included our daughter. We want her to be part of everything we do. She’s our whole world and our whole life,” he shared lovingly.
Kacie, meanwhile, was completely caught off guard by the emotional moment.
“I had no idea. I thought we were just going to dinner,” she recalled. “When I saw Cole and Blair walking toward me and the trail covered in flowers, I realized it was real. I was shocked — and so happy. I always dreamed of a proposal filled with flowers, and he made it perfect.”
A Love Story Years in the Making
Cole and Kacie’s romance has been a rollercoaster relationship over the years. Speaking to USA Insider earlier in 2024, Kacie admitted she initially “friend-zoned” Cole when they first met through mutual friends.
“We were both young and immature,” she said. “But once we started dating, we fully jumped in — and ever since becoming official, things have been amazing.”
When the big moment finally came, the emotion was overwhelming.
“I started crying instantly,” Kacie told PEOPLE. “I feel like I blacked out from emotion. I still can’t believe it actually happened.”
Family Support and Future Wedding Plans
The engagement has been met with joy by both families.
“The McBee family is super excited,” Cole said. “They’ve been on me about this for two years — especially since Blair was born. They already saw Kacie as family, but now it’s official.”
Kacie added,
“My family is thrilled too. They’ve loved Cole for years, and I can’t believe none of them spoiled the surprise — they’re usually terrible at keeping secrets!”
Looking ahead, the couple is already dreaming of their big day.
“We want a big wedding,” Cole said with a grin.
Kacie added, “We’re thinking late September or early October next year — on the farm, with a mechanical bull for fun!”

Their engagement has been a major storyline in Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. Throughout the season, fans watched the couple discuss their future and even browse engagement rings — though Kacie initially wanted to wait.
“I don’t want to get engaged just because it’s the next step,” she said on the show. “I want to get married because I truly want to spend the rest of my life with him.”
By September, speaking to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, the couple hinted they were closer than ever to making it official.
“Becoming parents has brought us so much closer,” Kacie shared. “Blair will be a beautiful flower girl — that makes it even more special.”
Cole teased, “I think we’re both ready for the next step. Maybe it’ll happen soon?”
