The Walking Dead Star Wants to Play Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption – You Won’t Believe His Excitement!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and Supernatural, has shared his strong interest in playing Arthur Morgan in a live-action adaptation of Red Dead Redemption.

He revealed this during a recent fan convention when someone asked him directly about the possibility.

Even though Jeffrey is busy playing Negan in Dead City, he said he would jump at the chance to play Arthur if the studio reached out.

A fan asked during the panel: “Would you be interested in ever playing a TV adaptation of Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption?”

“Oh f***, that’s the one I want to do!” Jeffrey replied enthusiastically, showing his excitement.

He made it clear that he absolutely wants the role, calling it his dream project.

“My favorite genre is westerns,” Jeffrey explained. “There’s not even a close second.”

He added that his son is a fan of the game, saying, “My son plays that game, and it’s freaking awesome!”

Jeffrey even joked that he’d take on the role for free, though he quickly clarified that he wasn’t serious about the “free” part. “Don’t actually f***ing tweet that out,” he told the crowd, making them laugh.

He then added, “So when the studio calls, ‘Well, we heard!’ I’d be like, ‘Okay…’” before confirming again: “Yeah, in a second.”

Interestingly, fans have also suggested other actors like Jeffrey’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles, Hugh Jackman, and Travis Fimmel for the same role.
