Susan Sarandon’s Daughter Stuns in Controversial Corset Gown at ‘French Garden’ Wedding

Eva Amurri, the daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri, married Ian Hock in a lovely garden-themed wedding in Hudson Valley on June 29. At 39, Eva wore a stunning corset wedding gown, but it received some backlash online. Many people criticized the gown as “inappropriate” and “tasteless.”

Even with the criticism, Eva shared her joy on Instagram, calling it “Officially #TheBestDayEva.”

The intimate ceremony had 40 guests, including Eva’s children—Marlowe Mae, Major James, and Mateo Antoni Martino—who each had special roles in the event.

The couple added a special touch to the ceremony with a “ring blessing,” where guests passed their wedding rings around to “put good energy into them.” Eva and Ian aimed to make the day personal and family-focused, saying they wanted to highlight their little family unit.

The French garden-themed event featured a menu from Grounded Catering, including Hudson Valley duck, cedar plank salmon, and local cheeses and charcuterie.

For the reception, Eva changed into a second Kim Kassas dress with feather trim and sparkles, and wore custom Nike Air Force Ones.

The couple shared their first dance to Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and a family dance to “Joy” by Andy Grammer, celebrating their close bond.
