At 62, Days of Our Lives Star Robert Kelker-Kelly Dead : 911 Audio Discloses What Responders Found at His Missouri Home
Robert Kelker-Kelly had distanced himself from Hollywood long before his passing on October 3. However, just months prior, he was back in the news following serious accusations from a former co-star.
Recent revelations have surfaced about his last hours. An emergency report of chest pain, the urgent response from medical personnel, and the caller’s comments about his condition shed light on the events of that evening.
The newly released 911 audio also highlights a significant challenge faced by those trying to assist the actor before help arrived.

Emergency Call from Missouri
Kelker-Kelly passed away on Saturday, October 3, at his residence in St. Peters, Missouri, at the age of 62. As reported by TMZ, the police in St. Peters received a call at around 8:16 p.m. regarding an unconscious man.

Authorities stated that nothing suspicious was found at the scene, indicating that the situation appeared to be a medical issue. However, by October 5, an official cause of death had not been made public.

911 Audio Provides Insight
The dispatch recordings give a clearer picture of the situation faced by emergency responders. According to Page Six, an automated message indicated a ‘cardiac arrest’ at Kelker-Kelly’s address.
Another officer on the scene identified the patient as a ’62-year-old male’ who was ‘unconscious’ and ‘not breathing.’ The dispatcher confirmed that ‘units are responding’ and that ‘CPR is in progress.’
However, the recording revealed a crucial challenge during these urgent moments: ‘Caller is unable to remove patient from bed,’ a responding officer noted. This detail was corroborated by a separate account from TMZ, indicating that the caller struggled to lift Kelker-Kelly from the bed.

Previously, police confirmed they were responding to reports of an unconscious man. The dispatch audio aligned with their earlier statements about CPR being administered while officials were en route.
Kyle Gaines, the Division Chief and Public Information Officer for the St. Charles County Ambulance District, informed Page Six that paramedics were dispatched for a male experiencing cardiac arrest.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel utilized advanced life-saving measures, but ultimately, Kelker-Kelly was declared dead at the scene. Subsequently, law enforcement confirmed that the medical examiner had released his body to a local funeral service.

A Legacy in Soap Operas
For fans of soap operas, Kelker-Kelly is best remembered for his portrayal of Bo Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives.’ He held the role from 1992 to 1995 after succeeding Peter Reckell.
During his tenure, Kelker-Kelly shared the screen with Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Brady, and Lisa Rinna, who took on the role of Billie Reed. His television career extended beyond Salem, as he also appeared on ‘Another World’ and ‘General Hospital’.

Eventually, he left acting to become an aircraft pilot and flight instructor, stepping away from the Hollywood limelight for many years. However, in early 2026, Rinna made serious allegations regarding their time working together.
Allegations from Lisa Rinna
In her memoir, ‘You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,’ Rinna recounted her experiences in the television industry, including her interactions with Kelker-Kelly. Known later for her role in ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ Rinna joined ‘Days of Our Lives’ as Billie Reed in 1992.

She remained on the soap until September 1995, when Krista Allen took over her role. Rinna made a return to the part from 2002 to 2003, again from 2012 to 2013, and once more in 2018. In her memoir, she refuted criticisms labeling her as a Hollywood bully and instead highlighted Kelker-Kelly.
Rinna described him as the ‘biggest bully in Hollywood,’ claiming that their working relationship proved extremely challenging. She wrote that Kelker-Kelly made her experience on the show ‘a living hell,’ describing him as ‘horrible’ towards her.

She accused him of being verbally abusive, passive-aggressive, and manipulative throughout their time together, alleging he engaged in mind games with her. Their characters had a romantic storyline that required them to work closely, even in intimate scenes.
Rinna expressed that Kelker-Kelly would sometimes stop communicating with her if she didn’t meet his expectations, portraying their off-camera relationship as adversarial. He did not publicly respond to these claims.

Security Measures After His Departure
Kelker-Kelly departed ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 1995, months before Rinna’s own exit. Peter Reckell would eventually return to the role of Bo Brady after his departure.
Rinna expressed relief over his exit and made an additional startling claim regarding what followed. She stated in her memoir that NBC provided security for both Rinna and Alfonso after Kelker-Kelly’s departure from the show.

Rinna recounted, ‘We had rent-a-cops parked outside our houses and trailers for three weeks and were driven to and from work.’ While she claimed she didn’t believe she was in physical danger, she suggested the network may have been taking extra precautions.
Her allegations reflect her perspective, and Kelker-Kelly never offered his side of the story before his death, leaving Rinna’s claims unaddressed.

More Than Just a Dispute
Kelker-Kelly was just one topic in Rinna’s memoir. She also revisited her time on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ where she was a cast member from 2013 to 2022.
In the book’s opening chapter, she reminisced about her first day on set, stating that producers were concerned the show was ‘boring’ and desired more engaging content. Rinna noted that cast member Brandi Glanville created drama and assured others that editing could shape viewer perceptions.
Rinna shared that she faced a $50,000 fine from Bravo for comments made on Instagram, which played a significant role in her eventual exit from the reality show. Despite the turmoil during her last season, she reflected on much of her time positively.

She characterized only her final year as dark, while cherishing earlier seasons filled with humor and significant moments.
Rinna’s memoir also touched on her more personal experiences, such as her mother’s passing in November 2021 at age 93. She recalled being asked to travel to Mexico for Season 12 filming just three days after her mother’s funeral.

Instead, she went to Mexico, describing herself as being in a state of shock and feeling unsupported by the production team. She also discussed tensions with ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ host and executive producer Andy Cohen.

Additionally, the memoir examined her daughters and the attention they received from prominent suitors. Rinna’s approach was clear: she was candid about her experiences, naming individuals and sharing events from her perspective.

Even with the new emergency audio data, authorities had not confirmed an official cause of death by October 5. It has been determined, according to police reports provided to TMZ, that Kelker-Kelly expressed chest pain prior to becoming unresponsive.
At approximately 8:16 p.m. on October 3, emergency crews were dispatched to his St. Peters residence following reports of him being unconscious and not breathing. The dispatch audio labeled the incident as a cardiac arrest.
While CPR was being performed, the caller experienced another complication: Kelker-Kelly was unable to be moved from his bed. Police, paramedics, and first responders attempted to intervene, but their efforts were in vain, and he was pronounced dead at the location.

His passing coincided with a peculiar final chapter in his public narrative, as Rinna’s memoir revived their alleged conflict decades after their time on ‘Days of Our Lives.’
