Toby had been fighting stomach cancer for three years after he found out he had it in 2022. He tried treatment for six months, but sadly, he died on February 5, 2024. Many people from all over the world are sharing their sadness and memories of Toby.

Blake Shelton, another famous singer and friend of Toby’s, talked about how tough Toby was and how he never expected this to happen. Blake said Toby was a friend, a hero, and someone who inspired him a lot. He wrote these words on Twitter to honor Toby’s memory.

Even though I knew about your battle these last few months I still never imagined this day. Anyone who knew you knows what I mean. You were the toughest man I ever met. Thank you brother for being a friend, a hero and an inspiration. There will never be another Toby Keith.

As per reports, Keith’s cancer first came to the attention of doctors in 2021. The American Solider singer told fans last year that his tumor had shrunk by a third, projecting optimism as for his prognosis.

Days prior to his passing, the country music icon shared a video reminiscing about his early days in the industry. Sadly, the singer passed away on February 5, 2024. He will be greatly missed.
