Bridget Moynahan got married in a beautiful wedding, many years after she and Tom Brady broke up.

After breaking up with professional athlete Tom Brady, Bridget Moynahan has finally found happiness in love.

Many of us remember when Moynahan and Brady split after being together for two years. Moynahan announced shortly after their split that she was three months pregnant with their child, who is now 16 years old.

Moynahan had to go through her pregnancy as a single mother. But despite the challenges, she has found a happy ending to her story. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2008, the 52-year-old Moynahan candidly talked about her unexpected journey as a single mother. She said, “I never thought I would raise a child alone,” and expressed her desire for a partner who would be equal in her life as a partner, lover, and friend.

Finding out she was going to have a baby was a big surprise for the actress and former model, Bridget Moynahan. It was tough for her because she always believed in getting married before having kids.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Moynahan said, “I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family.”

Her relationship with former NFL star Tom Brady ended “amicably” in early December 2006. But shortly after they broke up, Moynahan found out she was three months pregnant.

Brady had started dating supermodel Gisele Bündchen by then, which made things more complicated.

Moynahan described the experience as “traumatic” because she had to go through pregnancy and becoming a mom while everyone was watching. She admitted, “I’m not sure anyone – and I could be wrong in this – grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom.”

While Bridget Moynahan was busy raising her son, Jack, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen got married in February 2009. Just 10 months later, they had their first child, Benjamin, followed by a second child, Vivian, in December 2012. Unfortunately, after being together for 13 years, they divorced in 2022.

In her memoir, Gisele Bündchen admitted that finding out about Tom Brady and Moynahan’s baby was hard for her. She said, “Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. The very next day, the news was everywhere, and I felt my world got turned upside down.”

Despite the challenges, Moynahan found comfort in her son, Jack, who was born in 2007.

Moynahan opened up about her struggles during that time in her 2019 book, “Our Shoes, Our Selves.” She felt uncomfortable being in the public eye and described feeling “assaulted” despite having a baby, which should have been a joyful time.

However, she embraced motherhood and found it more fulfilling than her modeling and acting careers.

Moynahan has often expressed her love for being a mother, saying, “I have become that mother I used to dread. Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius. He’s a genius.”

Moynahan and Frankel have a blended family, including his three sons from a previous relationship, which creates a loving environment for Jack.

Despite the unexpected events in her life, Moynahan is grateful that her son has a big extended family. She told More magazine, “My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love.”

Moynahan’s story shows she’s resilient and embraces life’s surprises. She’s shown strength as a mother, determined to give her child love and support, which is admirable.
