Jane Fonda has been famous for a really long time. She’s 85 years old now, and even though she still works, it’s like she’s reaching the end of her career.

Some people are worried about her because she’s had health problems, but she recently talked about how she feels about death. She wants everyone to know that she’s “not scared” of it.

Jane Fonda has spent most of her life being famous, and now she wants to use the time she has left to show that it’s important for famous people to speak up for important things.

In an interview a few months ago, the star of “Grace and Frankie” said that she’s “not afraid of death,” but she knows it will happen “sooner rather than later.”

Last September, Jane Fonda told everyone that she found out she has a kind of cancer called Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She talked openly with Entertainment Tonight and said, “I won’t be here for much longer.”

She explained, “When you’re as old as me, you have to realize there’s more time behind you than ahead. That’s just the way it is.”

After telling people about her cancer, she said on Instagram, “I have something personal to share. I have non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and I’m getting chemotherapy.”

“I have a type of cancer that can be treated well. 80% of people with it survive, so I feel fortunate.

“I’m lucky because I have health insurance and can see the best doctors and get good treatments. I know it’s hard, but I understand that I have more advantages. Many families in America have faced cancer, but not everyone can get the good healthcare I have, and that’s not fair.

“I’m prepared,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I’ve had a wonderful life.”

Good news! Jane Fonda got good results from her chemotherapy. In a post on her website in December, she shared, “My oncologist told me that my cancer is in remission, and I can stop chemo. I feel very lucky and blessed.”

Even though she’s glad about her health, the 85-year-old actress is not afraid of dying. She thinks of death as an adventure. When she talked to Chris Wallace on Who’s Talking, she said, “I don’t want to go yet; I still have a lot to do.”

Jane Fonda shared that what really scares her is reaching the end of her life and having lots of regrets without any time left to fix them.

She mentioned that she doesn’t have many regrets, but she does wish she could have been a different kind of mom to her kids when they were younger. Even though her children are amazing, talented, and smart, she feels like she didn’t know how to be the best mom.

It seems like many people will miss Jane Fonda when she’s not around anymore. Are you a fan of hers? Feel free to let us know in the comments. And if you admire her, share this article on Facebook to celebrate all the fantastic work she’s done!
