Julian Ortega Dead at 41 – Netflix Star’s Sudden Cardiac Arrest on Beach Shocks Fans

Julian Ortega, who starred in the popular Netflix show “Elite,” has died. He collapsed on a beach in Spain, and despite lifeguards’ attempts to help, he could not be saved. He passed away on Sunday afternoon, according to officials in Spain.

Initial reports suggested that Julian Ortega drowned, but authorities have confirmed he actually suffered a heart attack while on the shore. He died in Barbate, a town on Spain’s Atlantic Coast.

Lifeguards tried to revive him for 30 minutes before he was declared dead at the scene. There were no signs of violence, according to officials.

Julian became well-known for his role on the Spanish drama “Elite,” where he played the restaurant manager of “La Cabana” in several episodes in 2018.

Julian Ortega also appeared in several other popular Spanish-language shows. Some of these include “4 Estrellas,” “The Countryside,” “Untameable,” “Velvet,” “Nunc et in Hora,” and “Caronte.”
