WATCH: Riley Green Calls 15-Year-Old Allie Rae a “Mini Reba” After Her Stunning Lainey Wilson Performance on ‘The Voice’

At just 15 years old, Allie Rae delivered a performance that had the coaches talking and Riley Green comparing the young country singer to one of the biggest legends in country music.

During the November 2 episode of The Voice Season 30, Allie Rae stepped onto the stage for the show’s intense new Cut Week, performing Lainey Wilson’s hit song “4x4xU.”

With her powerful voice, confidence, and natural stage presence, the Texas teenager proved she could hold her own against much older and more experienced competitors.

But it was what her coach, Riley Green, said afterward that made the moment especially memorable.

Riley Green Sees a Little Reba McEntire in Allie Rae

After watching the young singer deliver her performance, Green couldn’t hide his admiration.

“I loved it. Everything about it was great, like a little mini Reba,” Green told her.

The country star also praised Allie’s confidence and remarkable growth since her Blind Audition.

For a 15-year-old who dreams of making it in country music, being compared to Reba McEntire is an extraordinary compliment.

And Riley wasn’t the only coach impressed.

Kelly Clarkson Couldn’t Believe She Was Only 15

Kelly Clarkson was equally amazed by Allie’s performance, particularly her maturity and ability to connect with the song.

The Grammy-winning singer reminded Allie that she was already accomplishing things many artists could only dream of at her age.

Clarkson also described the young contestant as a natural storyteller, recognizing the emotion and personality she brought to the stage.

It was a moment that showed just how much potential the young Texas singer possesses.

A Difficult Decision Changes Everything

Despite the glowing praise, Allie’s journey took an unexpected turn.

Cut Week introduced the largest elimination round in The Voice history, reducing 28 contestants to just 12 automatic qualifiers for the Live Shows.

Each coach could advance only three artists.

Riley Green had already selected Cade Mower and sister duo Ferryn and Brinkley.

That left Allie Rae competing against four other singers for the final available spot.

Although she impressed the coaches with her Lainey Wilson cover, Riley ultimately chose Joe Henley, whose performance of Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” earned a standing ovation.

The decision meant Allie did not automatically advance to the Live Shows.

Could Allie Rae Still Return?

Fortunately, Allie’s story might not be over.

The show introduced a special second-chance opportunity, allowing viewers to vote for one of the 16 eliminated contestants to return.

The winning artist will join the Top 12, creating a Top 13 for the upcoming live performances.

The result is scheduled to be announced when The Voice returns on November 9.

Whether Allie gets another opportunity or not, she has already made an impression on some of country music’s biggest names.

At only 15, she has plenty of time to continue developing her talent and pursuing her dreams.
