Ken Urker Found Dead at His Louisiana Home on What Would Have Been His 34th Birthday Gypsy Rose Blanchard Responds

Ken Urker was discovered deceased at his residence in Louisiana on the day he would have turned 34, raising inquiries about his last moments and his connection with Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

The couple shared a daughter named Aurora Raina Urker, and their relationship had gone through various stages over the years, including an engagement, separation, and reconciliation.

Shortly after the news of his passing, two contrasting narratives regarding their relationship surfaced. Urker’s sister, Autumn, made a bold assertion about the couple, while Blanchard later offered her own perspective on his death.

Urker Discovered Deceased at Home

On October 1, Urker was found dead in Raceland, Louisiana, as confirmed by the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office. This date coincided with his 34th birthday.

According to reports, deputies were dispatched following a call around 6:15 p.m., but Urker was pronounced dead at the scene. An ongoing investigation into the circumstances of his death is underway.

Sources revealed that Urker was found unresponsive in the residence. Blanchard had reportedly sent him a birthday message, which went unanswered. His brother, Dylan, later located Urker inside the home.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose an official cause of death, and their investigation remains active.

Blanchard later provided her account of the events, following Autumn’s statements, which included her perspective on Urker’s relationship with Blanchard.

Sister Claims They Were No Longer Together

In a TikTok Live session just hours after the news broke, Autumn stated that Urker and Blanchard were no longer a couple at the time of his death. She asserted, ‘They’ve been split up,’ as reported by Parade.

This statement complicated the narrative, especially since Blanchard had referred to Urker as her partner in discussions about his passing. Thus, their differing accounts painted contrasting pictures of their relationship status.

Autumn further accused Blanchard of leaking information regarding Urker’s death to TMZ, although there was no proof supporting her claim.

In her remarks, Autumn expressed frustration, stating, ‘See, this is why I came on here because I knew that [expletive] would go to TMZ. You cold-bloodedly murdered your mother for [expletive]. You are a vile human being. You’re sick in the head…’

Her allegations also addressed TMZ’s report that Blanchard sent Urker a birthday text without receiving a reply.

Autumn continued, ‘Of course you went to TMZ that you texted him ‘happy birthday’ and didn’t get a response. You ain’t been getting a response,’ highlighting their tumultuous history.

These comments drew renewed attention to a relationship already marked by significant ups and downs.

Their History Together

Urker and Blanchard initially connected while she was serving time for her involvement in her mother’s murder, Dee Dee Blanchard. He proposed to her in October 2018.

Although they briefly called off the engagement, the pair reconciled in August 2019 before splitting again for years. During their time apart, Blanchard married Ryan Anderson.

Following her release from prison in December 2023, she announced her separation from Anderson four months later. By April 2024, Blanchard and Urker were back together, and they welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, in December 2024.

Autumn’s assertion that they had separated prior to Urker’s passing is particularly significant in light of their complex history. It contrasts sharply with Blanchard’s language when she addressed the loss.

Blanchard Alleges Overdose

On October 2, Blanchard shared her thoughts with People, suggesting that Urker may have died from an overdose. This theory had not yet been confirmed as the official cause of death by the authorities.

According to the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office, the investigation is still ongoing. Blanchard expressed uncertainty about whether the overdose was intentional, stating, ‘I don’t know if it was intentional or not. He was not in a good state of mind lately.’

Blanchard noted that Urker passed away in his bed at home, a detail confirmed by a family source who informed People that he was found dead there on October 1.

Reflecting on the news of his death, Blanchard shared, ‘I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns.’ She described Urker as a loving father who was deeply cherished.

Blanchard called him her soulmate, emphasizing the emotional bond she felt they had. She remarked on how Urker faced relentless public scrutiny during their relationship, including harassment on platforms like TikTok and Reddit.

Blanchard noted that the online abuse had a profound impact on Urker, and expressed her hope that his passing would serve as a reminder of the humanity behind social media posts, headlines, and comments.

Her reflections on the negative influence of online commentary mirrored her own understanding of how it affected Urker, although authorities had yet to connect his death to social media bullying.

Focus on Their Daughter

Blanchard stressed the importance of their daughter, Aurora, stating she wanted her to know her father beyond the negative portrayals shared by others online.

She emphasized that Aurora is a reflection of Urker and noted that a part of him will always live on in her. Blanchard committed to ensuring that Aurora understood her father’s profound love for her.

Blanchard concluded her statement by requesting privacy and compassion for Aurora, their families, and anyone mourning Urker’s loss. These comments came shortly after authorities were alerted to the situation at the Raceland residence.
