King Charles went back to his home at Sandringham after getting treatment for cancer in London yesterday. His wife, Queen Camilla, wasn’t with him because she had other things to do.

Charles has been trying hard to stay strong since finding out he has cancer. It was a surprise because he already had treatment for a big prostate.

He wore a nice suit and waved to people who wished him well outside Buckingham Palace and along the Mall as he went back to Sandringham.

Yesterday, we told you how Charles went back to Buckingham Palace with Queen Camilla by helicopter for his treatment. But some people think Charles likes Sandringham more because he can be private there.

A source told Hello Magazine!: “When the King goes to Sandringham, he can relax. One of the guides said he likes having his breakfast and afternoon tea there in front of his beautiful gardens. Even when the house is open, he stays upstairs.”

According to the Daily Express, King Charles went back to London yesterday for his second round of treatment for cancer. His treatment plan and the type of cancer he has aren’t known to the public. He’s expected to have more treatment later this month.

Charles has put off doing any public duties for now, but he’s still doing his important duties, like meeting with the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, every week.

The Royal Family is trying to keep things feeling normal, despite the cancer news. They’re staying positive. But anyone who has seen someone they love fight cancer knows it’s tough. It’s sad that the King had to go back to Sandringham today without his wife by his side.

Charles’s diagnosis is tough for the royal family right now. It’s never a good time to hear such bad news. Plus, there’s a lot going on already, like Kate Middleton’s health issues and the ongoing tension between Prince Harry and the rest of the family.

Kate had a mysterious surgery in her belly, and she won’t be able to do much until after Easter. So, Prince William has a lot on his plate already, even without worrying about his dad.

Queen Camilla will be there for Charles through thick and thin, but she also has her own royal duties to attend to. She won’t always be able to be with him. Last week, the Queen said Charles was doing “really well given the circumstances.” She mentioned that he was touched by all the support from people.

Let’s hope King Charles gets better soon.
