She also detailed how the treatment led to noticeable changes in how people reacted to her once she became slimmer. “At that time I thought it was the best decision I ever made because I finally lost weight and got skinny,” Gracie remarked, mentioning comments she received about her appearance.
That experience was particularly tough for Gracie, given her history of being unfavorably compared to Maggie and Audrey.
She recounted being called fat and ugly for years, whether through media or on the internet, and noted how people suggested she had different genes because she was regarded as “the ‘fat’ one.”
In hindsight, Gracie believes she became “way too skinny,” even though she thought at the time that she still needed to lose more weight.
