This week, fans of the show Stranger Things got some big news. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the show, hinted that she’s engaged to her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi.

If Jake looks familiar, it might be because he looks a lot like his famous dad, rock star Jon Bon Jovi. Jake is Jon Bon Jovi’s third-oldest child.

Jake, who is 20, and Millie, who is 19, are reportedly engaged. They’ve been dating since 2021.

When they announced their engagement, fans had mixed feelings. Some think Millie Bobby Brown is too young to get married, especially since many of us have watched her grow up on Stranger Things.

But it seems like Jake and Millie really love each other. Jake posted pictures of them on Instagram with the caption “Forever 🤍”.

Brown also posted a photo with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s song, saying, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”

In November, Brown said she met her fiancé on Instagram. “We met on Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?” she told Wired.

They walked the red carpet together for the first time at the 2022 BAFTA Awards last March.

Even though Brown is more famous, Bongiovi comes from a famous family too. His dad is the famous rock star Jon Bon Jovi. You can definitely see the resemblance between Jake and his dad when he was younger.

Jon Bon Jovi has four kids with his wife Dorothea Hurley. They’ve been together since high school and got married in 1989.

Jake is the third oldest of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley’s four kids. He has three siblings: Stephanie Rose, who is 29, Jesse, who is 28, and Romeo, who is 19.

When he was in high school, Jake was active in speaking out against school shootings. He organized a walkout at his school to demand action. “It’s enough. It’s happened too many times that we watch it,” Jake said when he was just 15 years old.

Jake also played football when he was at Poly Prep Country Day School, according to Elle magazine.

After high school, Jake went to Syracuse University. There’s a picture on Instagram of Jake with his parents, all wearing Syracuse gear. Jon Bon Jovi even helped him move into his dorm. But Jake didn’t go back for his second year, according to the university.

Actor Jake may look like his famous dad, but he doesn’t plan on following his footsteps as a rock star — instead, he has acting aspirations.

While he has yet to make his debut, he has two projects in production: he was cast in the HBO Max feature Sweethearts, which wrapped production in August 2022.

He was also cast in the comedy Rockbottom, reportedly about a hair metal band. Jake will play the character of Justin, the “potential new lead singer” who “must overcome stage fright to lead the band back to glory,” per Variety.
