Netflix Star Kim Sae-Ron, 24, Found Dead at Home – The Shocking Details
|Kim Sae-ron, a well-known South Korean actress, has passed away at the age of 24. Her death comes nearly two years after a drunk driving incident that brought her under public scrutiny.

The former child star, famous for her roles in films and dramas, was found in her Seoul apartment. According to The Korea Herald, a friend discovered her body and called the police around 4:50 p.m.
Authorities are investigating the cause of her death but have not found any signs of a break-in. “We have not found any signs of foul play as of yet, but we are investigating the circumstances of the death,” a police official told Yonhap News Agency. No further details have been released.

Following the news, many paid tribute to Kim on Instagram. Actress Kim Ok-vin posted a white flower as a symbol of condolence, while a fan page remembered her as a “talented actress.”

Kim Sae-ron was born on July 31, 2000, in Seoul. She started acting at the age of nine and quickly gained fame with her roles in A Brand New Life (2009) and The Man From Nowhere (2010). Her performance earned her the Best New Actress award at the 8th Korean Film Awards.
That same year, she became the youngest South Korean actress invited to the Cannes Film Festival, where A Brand New Life was screened.
Kim continued to impress audiences with roles in The Neighbors (2012), The Queen’s Classroom (2013), and Glamorous Temptation (2015). Most recently, she starred in Bloodhounds, which was released on Netflix.
In May 2022, Kim made headlines for a drunk driving incident in Gangnam’s Cheongdam-dong area. As reported by The South China Morning Post, she crashed into an electrical transformer box, causing power outages that affected businesses and traffic signals.
