Hosts Of ‘Fox & Friends’ Gets

The set of “Fox & Friends” grew tense during a discussion about a Wall Street Journal opinion piece that suggested former President Donald Trump might be too afraid to participate in debates.

The conversation began when Steve Doocy brought up the article, which visibly irritated his co-host, Brian Kilmeade.

“The piece highlights that while Trump has a significant lead, his actions don’t reflect that confidence. The final line suggests his advisers might be telling him to avoid debates to prevent saying something that could harm his legal defense. But avoiding debates is a sign of weakness, not strength,” Doocy explained.

Doocy continued, “Eventually, he’ll need to address those questions. People often tell me they want to hear what he has to say in the debates. It’s hard to imagine Donald Trump being afraid of anything, but this raises the question—why won’t he debate? Some might argue that, with a 40-point lead, there’s no reason to. Others speculate he might fear saying something that could jeopardize him.”

Kilmeade was quick to defend Trump, countering the speculation.

“I think it’s less about fear and more about caution,” Doocy noted, which prompted Jones to laugh and sarcastically add, “Trump, cautious? That’s a first! His attorneys probably advised him to stay quiet—no tweets, no Truth Social posts—but he keeps going!”
