Deadly wildfires are devastating Los Angeles, forcing evacuations and causing many, including celebrities, to lose their homes.
So far, 10 people have died, and over 180,000 have been evacuated. Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone says the fires have destroyed at least 10,000 structures.
Actress Mandy Moore evacuated her home, sharing on Instagram that she was staying with friends and wasn’t sure if her house survived. Later, she updated that the main part of her house was still standing but unlivable. However, she and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, lost their garage, back house, and his music studio.
Many celebrities have spoken out about losing their homes in the fires. Model Keleigh Teller shared photos of her burned home, saying she wished she had taken her wedding dress. She urged others in LA to evacuate if possible and thanked first responders for their bravery.
Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg lost their “forever home” but are safe. They asked fans to donate to wildfire victims through a GoFundMe page. In a statement, Greenberg emphasized that safety matters most and directed attention to others in need.
Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges lost his family home in Malibu, which had been passed down from his parents. Candy Spelling’s home in the same area also burned. She called the loss “massive” but said she’s grateful for the memories.

James Woods described the chaos during his evacuation, saying it felt like “an inferno.” Diane Warren lost her beach house of nearly 30 years but said she was relieved her animals were safe.
Cameron Mathison shared that his home burned down, leaving him with only a few items. He described the emotional toll of losing everything, including irreplaceable memories.
