She said, “Working on such a groundbreaking project for Walt Disney and singing the Vaudeville-style songs of Mary Poppins was a truly special experience.” She went on, “Songs like ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ and ‘Jolly Holiday’ brought back the charm and joy of English vaudeville tunes.”

Julie Andrews started her journey in entertainment with roles in Broadway hits like My Fair Lady (1956) and Camelot (1960). Her charm and talent have stayed strong over the years. Recently, she enchanted audiences as the voice of Lady Whistledown in the hugely popular Netflix series, Bridgerton.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, when asked if she might appear in person on Bridgerton, Julie firmly said no. She explained, “The identity of Lady Whistledown is known, so my role remains just my voice. But I treasure every moment of it.”
