Pink and Carey Hart Mark Milestone: 18 Years of Marriage Amidst Candid Confession

ad 6:

Pink and her husband Carey Hart are really happy because they’ve been married for 18 years! But, you know what? It almost didn’t happen. Pink says love is like always coming back to the table, and honestly, they almost didn’t make it to this 18th anniversary.

Carey, Pink’s husband, talked about their 22 years together and 18 years of being married. They’ve done a lot of things together in all those years—raising two awesome kids, traveling all over the world, having adventures, loving each other, having arguments, making up, supporting one another, laughing, crying, laughing even more, breaking up, getting back together, partying, mourning, growing, and a million other things!

Carey says there’s no one else on this planet he’d rather do all these things with than Pink. They’ve been in each other’s lives for 22 years, and he’s looking forward to the next 22. He even jokes that it’s all good as long as Pink doesn’t kill him first! 😄

Meanwhile Pink took a more emotional approach, remembering when the two met more than two decades ago.

“When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust,” she wrote. “It’s f**king hard.”

Even though Pink and Carey Hart faced some problems in their relationship, their love for each other was stronger.

At one point, they took a short break in 2003 but got back together a year later. Then, in 2008, they said they were separating, but after a few months, they decided not to get divorced.

Pink says she’s proud they made it through tough times, and she wears the “scars” from those challenges with pride. She lovingly describes Carey as her stubborn, beautiful, and unshakeable rock.

In 2021, Pink shared with People magazine how, when she and Carey Hart started their relationship, she used to be very “needy,” meaning she relied a lot on him. But over time, they both changed and grew up. They became their own individuals.

She explained that when you first start dating, it’s easy to see that person as your whole world. However, Pink realized that one person can’t be everything to you. You need your own interests, friends, and time for yourself. So, she became less dependent on Carey, and he on her. This shift allowed them to give each other more space and freedom.

So, a big congratulations to Pink and Carey Hart! 🎉
